Hi! I’m Sheifu. My name comes from the movie Kung Foo Panda and is Chinese for ”master”.  I’m a healthy, strong 8 year-old and weigh about 100 pounds. Yep! I’m a big boy.

I am looking forward to settling in with a companion who has time to spend with me. I haven’t had much training and need some practice on leash but I am a friendly gentle boy. I don’t go crazy (like the pups ) when I meet new people but I do enjoy socializing.

I would really love to learn how to walk nicely on leash. As we get a little older, walks are a great way to stay healthy and keep up on the neighborhood gossip! I have a sweet easy-going demeanor so with the proper equipment (maybe a gentle leader or front clip harness), I’ll learn quickly how to be a wonderful walking partner. I haven’t had much training either and would love for someone to teach me things and I’ve heard great things about dog school! I'd love to try that!

I like other dogs just fine and don’t have much of a prey drive. Little critters don’t bother me.  Oh and as for little critters....I grew up with kids too and I like them.

I would make a wonderful companion for someone who wants a friend to hang out with and boy would I love to see some new things.

I haven’t had a lot of experience going in the car but the few times I have gone, I really like it. You'll probably have to show me how to get into your car....but I'll get it in no time.

I currently spend the days outside while my family works and then sleep in the garage at night. I will be sure to quickly learn the rules of indoor living. I kind of treat the garage where I live as my “den” so transitioning to indoor living will be no problem at all. I actually can’t wait for that! I really want to be part of someone’s family-no matter how big or small.

I definitely don’t bark for no reason, but I will I will alarm bark if I hear something suspicious. I can help out that way!

If you are looking for a companion dog that has grown out of that silly puppy stage, my friends at BAGSR think that you will be lucky to have me. They say I have a solid, golden temperament.

I hope to hear from you. I’ll be waiting in Danville.
