Nina thanks Charles Clayton for sponsoring her - much appreciated, Charles - WOOF WOOF!

I’m Nina! I’m a 4 year old girl GSD. I’m medium sized at about 70 pounds.

Unfortunately, my previous family moved and decided they couldn’t take me so they dropped me off at a shelter. Thank goodness for my new friends at BAGSR! While the people at the shelter were nice, I’d rather not ever have to go back.

I’m living with another dog at my foster mom’s house and I had a dog sibling in my previous life. I can be a bit of a bossy pants with some dogs; but heck…let’s hear it for the bossy girls! I’d actually love to have a dog sibling again - one who will play with me. And I would benefit from an active family because I do have a lot of energy. If you like to walk, hike, run….I have the energy to keep up. I would love to have a nice yard to play in too.

I think you might notice the sparkle in my eyes and spring in my step when you meet me. I’m so looking forward to my new adventure with a new family to love. I’ll need some settling in time when I find my new family. I’ve kind of been through a lot lately.

My foster mom says I’m somewhat of a Velcro dog….she leaves the room and I follow. I am learning how to be loved and I love to give kisses. She also describes me as “spunky”! Sounds fun doesn’t it?! I’m a happy friendly girl. I enjoy when visitors come to the house too.

I have a high prey/play drive so a household with small critters is probably not a good idea. I LOVE to go with my foster mom - in the car, on walks - you name it! I’m a great companion. I need a bit of practice using good manners when I know I get to go somewhere just because I get so very excited. And, I still need a little practice walking nicely on leash. There’s just so much to see! I am food motivated though so training with treats will be super fun.

I have very nice house manners……so…..probably don’t need a crate - right?!  I’ll go in a crate if you insist but I don’t really like it. I don’t get into trouble when left alone - no accidents, no chewing etc. So, we’ve settled that…I don’t need a crate!

I will alarm bark when I hear something suspicious or when someone first comes to the house. I’ll be a protector and will bond quickly with my new family.

My foster mom is taking really good care of me while we wait for someone who would like to keep me forever. I’ll be waiting in Rohnert Park.
