Your $25 will pay for food. Jack thanks you!
“Will the real GSD please stand up!” I’ll be holding my “down” command-hahaha.
My name is Jack and I’m a GSD IMPOSTOR. I’m a 3 year old Australian Shepherd/mountain dog mix but my friends at BAGSR have kindly offered to help me find a new home. I’m a fit 60 pounds and am a healthy boy.
I’m looking for a new best friend or a family full of them. I will happily join you on a jog, hike, leash walk, car ride, trip to the dog park….you name it, I’ll be up for it! While I absolutely love human companionship, I’d probably excel in a family with other dogs to play with and to help me continue to build my confidence. I am respectful with older dogs and playful with the younger ones. My foster family has 3 GSDs and I am really enjoying them.
I have a solid foundation with my obedience and walk nicely on leash. I have very polite house manners and am fine in a crate. I’m young so there’s still lots to learn. I’m like a GSD in that I am really looking forward to more training and activities. I love treats and toys too.
Something you should know about me is that I’m pretty smart and innovative! I can open the lever doors at my foster home all by myself. I’m quite adept at standing on my back legs and pulling the door open while jumping back.
I don’t have much of a prey drive and am totally fine with cats…in fact, I kind of like them.
My foster mom says I’m remarkably sweet and loving and she enjoys my soft, silky coat. She also thinks that I have an endearing goofy component to my sweet personality. (See the skillfulness referenced above-haha). She thinks I'm pretty fun.
I hope I sound like someone you’d like to meet. I’ll be waiting in Orinda for my new family.
