Esme means to love. She is all about being loved and loving those around her. She gets along great with big dogs and the resident cat.
However, she can be mouthy with the cat and needs redirection, because she is still a puppy. She loves to play fetch with you or herself.
She is potty trained, crate trained and is getting better at riding in the car.
She loves the water and will need a life vest if she is going to the lake. She splashes in her drinking water she loves it so much!
Esme has been diagnosed with epilepsy
She is on phenobarbital which has been very effective and we have not seen any seizures since she was first diagnosed. She may outgrow her condition or it could begin to be more prevalent.
Like all smart dogs she will need a basic training class to work on manners and basic commands. She will also require ongoing monitoring by the vet to assure proper dosage of medications.
The ideal home would be one in which someone works from home and she is not alone for more than 4 hours at a time.
