When you adopt a BAGSR dog, the last thing you should worry about is your new dog’s health. When you see this sign, you know that our volunteers & donors have ensured:

Your dog has a clean bill of health for heartworm, fleas and ticks. Your dog has received monthly medication to make sure the bugs stay away. Your dog has been spayed or neutered. Your dog has been microchipped and you'll be added to the registration. Your dog is current on rabies and DHLPP vaccines. Your dog has been eating good food and we will give you some to take home.

We want you to adopt your new dog with confidence. Thanks to all our BAGSR donors and volunteers who made this possible!

"You'll be my soft and sweet, I'll be your strong and steady, you'll be my sunny day, I'll be your Honey B!"

That's my name Honey B - just like the song!

I’m a spayed female GSD/Nordic mix which explains my pretty cream color. I’m a youngster-just about a year old so I’ll be up to my puppy antics for a while and I’ll need room to run and play. I’m an athletic 62 pounds so an active person or family would be loads of fun and I do like kids.

Even though I’m still young, my foster family is impressed with my calm demeanor and “super nice disposition”. I’m smart so it would be great to be challenged and take in some obedience classes where we can learn together and I can meet new people and dogs. I need some practice walking on a leash too. It will be fun to work on that with my new family. For us GSDs…work is play!

I’m not really fond of small dogs although I wouldn’t say I like to chase small critters. Small dogs just irritate me. On the other hand, dogs my size I can handle. I haven’t had much experience with cats but they don’t interest me when I’m on a leash walk.

I enjoy car rides and after a day of fun, I love to cuddle with both my people and my soft toys.

I have excellent house manners and sleep quietly in a crate at night….with my toys.

I can‘t wait to share my heart and loyalty with a new forever family. While I wait, my foster family in Livermore is taking good care of me.

"You'll be my honeysuckle and I'll be your Honey B!"
