Hi! I’m Fritz-a two and a half year old black and tan boy. I’m pretty big-about 95 pounds with a lean, fit physique. Did you know Fritz is a nickname for King Fredrick? I just found that out and am so proud! I actually feel like a king after what I went through….being found near a busy freeway and all. Also my foster family treats me like a king! They also say I am a beauty-a gentleman in a fur coat. How about that? They say I’m a sweet and playful boy who loves affection. Even if they didn’t say all that good stuff about me I would still tell anyone that my foster family is really important to me. I really want to be part of a family.
I am a ball boy for sure! I love to play fetch for about 30 minutes each day and then lay in the shade and to chill! I really like to hang out with people and I like kids a lot. I stick close to the people I love and will give a warning bark if someone we don’t know approaches. But that’s all it is-a warning bark. I am not aggressive at all.
I do like to eat but don’t mind if someone messes with my food and l don’t mind sharing my food with my foster dog sibling.
My foster family is helping me brush up on my obedience skills and I can’t wait to get serious about more training. I’m a quick study and like that kind of work. I also really like riding in the car.
I'm playful but also like to relax when it’s time to settle down.
I do have a strong prey drive and my foster family is still working with me to be more relaxed around cats.
For now, I’m staying with my foster family in Walnut Creek.
