Your $25 will pay for food. Sandy thanks you!
What a sweetie. We're waiting for her to get over kennel cough to see what her energy level is; she is, though, just as sweet as can be. Sandy is getting over kennel cough; once that's cleared up, we'll know what her energy level is.
Sandy is a beautiful light creamy color with a black saddle. Her eyeliner defines her face; her colors are stunning.
At the shelter, Sandy was unsure of every dog she met. As a result, she was introduced to many sizes and shape, male and female. She started to understand doggie play and play bows. Now in foster care with other dogs, she is good; she's already come a great distance with that. We will continue to expose her to various dogs so she is well-rounded in that area.
She likes to play ball, she likes dog beds, and she likes to take her toys to her bed. :) She's also crate trained at night and various times during the day. If left in the yard for long periods, she barks; we'll be looking for a furever home that is home much of the day or for someone who would take her with them during the day.
We will get to know Sandy better over the coming weeks. She still needs to get spayed, but she needs a good 10 pounds on her before that.
Sandy might be a resource guarder with other dogs; we will define that further. If that's the case, Sandy will not be adopted to a family with children under 15.
