Your $25 will pay for food. Tesla thanks you!
You might already know about Tesla because he's a bit of a star. He has a lot of very supportive admirers, who have been rooting for him during his recovery.
Tesla had been hit by a car in Oakland and suffered a broken leg. He required immediate surgery to steel plate his long bone, which, when healed, will allow him a long, happy, healthy life of romping. His recovery is 12 weeks of mostly sedentary crate rest. At week 8, he will be allowed a bit more freedom, and then he should be good to run at week 12. That's the plan, anyway. (The short video of Tesla in the water bucket is the day he was allowed a bit of freedom. What a happy goof he is!)
Tesla is recuperating with a RVT in Redding; who could ask for anything better? It may be, though, that we will not be seeing Tesla again. Rumor has it that his foster family has fallen in L.O.V.E. with him and will adopt him. Stay tuned for the Rest of the Story.
