Duchess is a nice, sturdy pup, about 6 months old now and 50 pounds.  She should top out at 75 or so pounds.

She came to us from her owners who got her at 8 weeks; they are dealing with some unexpected health issues and can no longer care for Duchess.

Duchess is very friendly and happy with people - extremely social with all sizes and ages of people, and still needs training.  She will jump up on people, but can also easily learn that it's not acceptable.  She is house trained, now crate trained, and fairly trustworthy in the house, but she IS a puppy.  She is Test Kitty Approved and loves to play with him.

Duchess did not have a lot dog interaction in her life.  Her initial response is to be cautious, but once she's comfortable with another dog, she is play, play, play, play.  She is quite respectful and would want to have other friendly dog play every day.  She would make a good second dog as long as the resident dog was as nice and playful as Dutchi is.

This doll-baby is in the east bay, waiting until she gets over pneumonia.  She still needs to be spayed, which will happen when she's all cleared up.  As with all of our puppies, her new family must have recent, successful working dog puppy experience.  We will want to hear all about the fun stuff you learned with your previous puppies.
