Jovi is thrilled to announce that he has been sponsored by Leah Ho. Thanks Leah!
The day we met Jovi he was scared to death of everything. Within a week, he was walking on a leash, will get in a car, finds comfort in his crate and confidently runs around his foster home with lots of visitors. He is about 10 months old and is about 65 pounds. He will grow a bit more but will not be a big dog.
Jovi is very sweet; he is not a watch dog although he's very observant of people passing by. He will bark appropriately and sometimes just to hear himself bark. He is too young and untrained to live in a home where he is left for long periods of time. Jovi hasn't shown a big desire to play with toys. We think he will become a 'normal' dog when he gets proper, daily socialization with people and sights and sounds.
Jovi is being fostered with several other dogs; he's too soft to be with dogs that are super forward or rough and tumbles. He is respectful of other dogs and hangs out nicely with them. Jovi has free roam of the house at times and encounters the foster's cats; he is good with them.
He is a nice boy and will be a very nice addition to a family. As a puppy, Jovi will need good training and consistency from his new family members.
