Your $25 will pay for food. Zephyr thanks you!
I'm Zephyr. I'm a sweet, petite, sable girl who is a mix of German Shepherd, Malinois, Labrador and mystery (based on my DNA test). My mom and my five siblings all came into BAGSR together. You are probably asking why I am not in my forever home.
I was born with congenital Megaesophagus or Mega E. You can read about it here.
That means I may have trouble keeping food down and need to be held and kept in an upright position to eat or drink then kept in that position for a little bit while my food settles. I can run and play- many people won't know that there is anything different. I love other dogs and people. I am silly and snuggly. I will be a wonderful best friend to you. I also may get sick and the chances of my living a shorter time than the average dog are higher. I will need tests and regular checkups. My care may be expensive. My friends at BAGSR will help- they are committed to making sure I have the very best shot at a good dog life.
My wonderful foster mom says I am doing great!
There are lots of Mega E dogs out there - we even have our own FaceBook page filled with ideas for special chairs and connecting our people to a great support community.
I need a family of my own. I want to lie next to you on the couch and watch TV at night and mostly I want to know that I am your girl and you are my person. I'm worth it- I really am.
If you aren't scared off by the description and you only see the girl I really am then please apply to adopt me. I promise you won't be sorry. I will bring so much more to your life than you can even imagine. The things that are hard are the things that are really worth it.
