Your $25 will pay for food. Buddy thanks you!
My name is Buddy…and I’m hoping to be yours! I’m a year and a half old, 90 pound boy GSD. I am a high energy youngster that would love to live with an active person or family.
I am a typical GSD in that I’ll need plenty of exercise, a strong leader and someone to guide me with firm, fair boundaries. I’m am super smart and need to stay busy.
Dog school will be great for me. I haven’t had any formal training but will thrive in a group setting where I can practice focusing on what’s expected of me while working around other dogs.
Speaking of other dogs….I really like them. I love going to daycare and spending time in a pack. This also helps me continue to practice good dog manners. I do ok on leash but still get amped up when I see other dogs out and about. To be perfect, I just more exposure to other dogs and new things.
I don’t like cats though unless you count how much I like to chase them! Oh...and I did catch a rat once. I probably won't be great in a household with small furry creatures.
I like to go in the car. Sometimes I get a little anxious at first but with more car trips I’ll learn to really love them.
In classic GSD fashion, I will alarm bark when people get close to my home
Something you should know about me is that I will flourish with owners who are GSD savvy. My personality is not really suitable for a first-time dog owner but I sure will be hugely rewarding for an adopter who enjoys the specialness of owning a GSD. I will be quite an enjoyable and entertaining companion for someone who understands dogs like me-smart, active and looking for leadership.
This is a courtesy post and I’ll be waiting with my family in Rohnert Park. I hope to meet you!
