Hi! I’m Frida Kahlo....but my friends just call me Frida. I’m a 9 month old Belgian Malinois and I weigh an athletic 40 pounds.
My foster mom has taught me so much since she got me out of the shelter! She says I’m a super smart girl and that I learn quickly. I’ve already learned some basic commands.
I’m a fun-loving youngster who enjoys rough and tumble play with other dogs, I love to play chase, and I’ll curl up with one of my furry friends when it’s time to rest.
There are lots of other dogs at my foster home and I get along with them nicely-in fact I enjoy the playmates. I can, however, get a bit amped up sometimes and I try to involve the other dogs in my excitement. So I’ll need some reminders about proper behavior until I learn what’s appropriate and what isn’t.
I love to play ball and tug…tug is my favorite! I really like car rides too.
I have really good house manners for a youngster and like my crate just fine. I think it’s fun to get on the furniture but will get off when I’m told to do so. I am even good when left alone in the house-yep!
I am a friendly girl, take direction well and am a good listener.
I find things (furniture-haha) to balance on so my foster mom says I will be a fun dog for someone who wants to keep me challenged. I am agile and confident! I can easily jump a six foot fence and can scale all kinds of obstacles.
I will also alarm bark when I see or hear something suspicious to me.
Something you should know about me is that I’ll need confident leader who is experienced with Mals. I'll also need plenty of both physical and mental exercise and someone who can spend lots of time with me working and playing. If you are up for it, I’ll be waiting with my foster family in Walnut Creek. Hope to meet you!
