Looking for a fun sniffer dog? Want to train your dog to competition sniff? This might be your dog!
Pepper has lived a nice life with her family since birth. Her family had to make the difficult decision to allow her to find a better life; they turned to us, and we're very happy to help.
Pepper was born on May 4th, 2013. She's a beautiful red and black sable, with a slight build, and currently about 55 pounds. She will fill out a bit more and should top out at no more than 65 pounds. She's a nice agile girl. She is very treat motivated, play motivated and scent motivated. Her training has been within her home, with her GSD experienced family. She's grown up around family and friends, even new-born children; her two legged friends are sure to get lots of licks on the face. She's also lived with numerous dogs; she is initially frightened of large dogs and animals, but will become relaxed after 20 minutes.
Pepper is not fearful, but she is cautious. She's not outgoing, but she's very friendly and will become comfortable in new environments. She's on the quite side, yet very loving and compliant. Pepper loves to use her nose to investigate and find things. She is merely a sport dog, not a dog with work-ability.
If you have sport-dog experience, Pepper will thrive in a fun, friendly, positive environment. She's a level 3 dog in the east bay.
