My name is Nova! I’m a healthy, 9 month old Malinois/Dutch Shepherd/Brindle mix. I’m an energetic healthy girl and would love a family or companion who is also “sporty”.  I have a thin athletic build and weigh about 52 pounds but am still growing.

I would benefit from continued training so that I will grow up to be the best that I can be. I am well on my way!  I already walk nicely on leash and know some basic commands.

I’ll do best with an experienced handler who will be a strong leader and who will expose me to lots of situations and environments so I will learn to be a confident and secure companion. I’ll thrive in an active family who will include me in various activities.

I’ll need some practice being around other dogs. I still get a little nervous around them.  I have stayed with cats before and while I liked to play chase with them, I did learn to respect their space.

I have nice house manners and like to sleep in my crate.

I love to play frisbee and ball and of course like lots of Mals-I love my tug toys and ropes. I might like to use my tug as a training reward as I’m not much of a chow hound although I do like treats.

I enjoy car rides too.

I am super smart and love to learn. Because of my age, I will admit that I still need to work on impulse control haha…sometimes I get sidetracked and need to be reminded to pay attention.

I am a youngster though. If you are up for the silly challenges of puppy antics, we can certainly have lots of fun.

I’ll love my new family unconditionally and will be very loyal. I hope you are up to a vivacious pup!

I’ll be waiting in Los Altos Hills.
