Hi! My name is Trudy.

I’m a healthy girl GSD mix-mixed maybe with Tervuren. I’m just a pup; I’m about 11 months old. I’m on the small side at a lithe 50 pounds but am energetic like most girls my age.

My  friends at BAGSR say I’m a very sweet girl. I have nice house manners and currently sleep in a crate at night.  In my current foster home, I am responding to training very well and know how to sit, heel and wait at the door. Also, when it's appropriate to bark and when it's not.  I am still a little unsure when meeting new dogs and I will bark, but as soon as I feel safe, I want to play. I’ll continuing training but am willing to learn and I’m already pretty good on leash. I am smart too. I love to swim and hang out with my foster brother, another GSD. I like to ride in the car too and can fit in almost anything, like your sports car. I am waiting in Morgan Hill for my forever home.

Little Trudy was a stray, living in a landfill in Lake County until the kind people that worked there were able to coax her in to a leash. That was a few months back and Trudy has blossomed in foster care. She is a playful, curious, smart pup that loves nothing more to play in a big group of dogs.  Trudy is a well behaved pup, learning the routine and what is expected of her. She walks very nice on leash and loves to follow her people.  In her first foster home, she slept indoors, in a crate and we were told she was a good girl.  Trudy would thrive in a family environment that wanted to enroll her in an obedience class. She would love to have other dogs to play with, but also the one on one human touch that she missed out on very early on.
