Freja was in a high kill shelter in southern CA.  Originally thought to be a malinois, our friends at Woof Project (Malinois Rescue) evaluated her and then asked us to consider bringing Freja into our program because they liked her so much.  Woof transported her half way to the bay area, and one of our coastal Ca volunteers brought her up; all the way here, she bonded with those who loved on her.

Freja is a perfect blend of chill and get-up-and-go.  She has the body of a runner and would make a great running or hiking buddy.  She's a dog that would love doing anything her person does.  She has previous obedience training in german commands but needs a refresher. :)

Freja is a very good girl; well mannered, trained and sweet, she's almost a turn-key dog.  However, we've seen some resource guarding of her people (people she's attached herself to) so we'd like to see her go to someone who potentially lives alone with a quiet life.

Freja is about 1.5 years old, with a sable coat and a 60 pound body.  She's the perfect athletic size.
