Kai is a special girl who came to us from another rescue.  Because the other rescue was an all-breed rescue, we'd most likely find a home for her sooner.  We're happy she's with us.  She's very sweet.

Sweet Factor - 10!  Chris, our volunteer, initially met Kai and was impressed with how gentle and sweet she was.  The evaluation went as well as could be expected; throughout it, Kai told Chris how much she loved her new stranger friend, leaning in for hugs and pets the entire time.

Cute Factor - 10!  Her almost bright white face and black accents are stunning.  She looks Egyptian elegant.

Friendly Factor - 10!  She greets everyone with a gentle sniff.  Then she moves her head to their laps.  Then she puts her front feet on the lap.  Then she settles in.

Happy Factor - 10!  When Kai went to her foster home, she met several dogs.  She was a bit overwhelmed, but did very well with them.  In the morning, she went outside with 5 other dogs; an hour later when it was time to come in, she ran around a corner just as happy as can be.  She was smiling, running, hopping and engaging with all the dogs.

Stinker Factor - Hmmmm,  maybe a 7 or 8. *smile*  As she settles into her foster home, she has proved she has a very strong nose for food; in other words, if it's around, she'll find it.  She has perfected the art of paper tearing; keeping notepads, books and miscellaneous papers out of her reach is, well, pretty important.

Kai is about 2 year old.  She is a level 2 dog.  Kai needs confidence building and confident introduction to lots of social situations.  Her ideal home will have another dog and a family with recent training and supervision skills.
