Juno and his new family.  Dad works from home and travels internationally, Mom is stay at home, and they have a pre-teen daughter who was instrumental in researching the breeds that were right for their new family member. They live in Belmont on the peninsula.

Juno is a great all-around guy.  He got to the shelter because he kept running away from his owner.  Eventually, he was not reclaimed by his owner, and we got to bring him into our program.  Once in his foster home, Juno showed his appreciation by clinging to his foster mom.  During his three hour brushing, he realized the brushing equalled love and affection, which he took to very well.

Juno is quietly friendly and greets every new person he sees.  Upon seeing the vet for his neuter, Juno couldn't rub his body all over the vet enough.  "Another fierce dog you got there JJ", said the vet...  Juno was a perfect patient at the vet, just two days after coming into the program.  That's how great he is.

Juno is about 18 months old.  He's a classic black and tan, tall and thin boy.  From what we are seeing, he would like to be with his people as much as possible.  He follows us around the yard, he lays at our feet, he'd likely be a good exercise buddy and errand buddy.  It appears he is house trained.

Juno is good with the other dogs he's being fostered with.  He doesn't like dominant males, but he's fine with other males and all females he's met.  He hasn't met Test Kitty yet, but he will soon.

Since Juno is really new to us, we haven't discovered an outgoing personality yet, but when we do, we'll add to his bio.  He's a level 2 dog in the east bay.
