Hi! I’m Jazmyn. I’m a 3 year old Dutch Shepherd/GSD mix. I weigh about 65 pounds and am healthy, active and fit.

I would thrive in an active home and because I'm from two working breeds, I will need someone to keep me busy. I know obedience commands but need to work on my calm focus. Regular appropriate exercise to drain excess energy will help with that though. Dog school would be a blast.

Just to be clear, we working dogs really don’t like just hanging around waiting for our families to get home from work or school unless we can have fun stuff to do both before and after you leave for the day. If you would like to try some sort of dog sport or nose work, I'm your girl. I might even like dock diving. Sound fun??

I am a confident girl and do like other dogs, but need some guidance and practice meeting other dogs using calm energy. I m a typical girl dog and I'm told I can be kind of bossy! I also need a little practice on my leash skills but do ok.

I really like kids but my high energy would need to be closely monitored around really little one (don't want to accidentally knock any kiddos over).

I am a little anxious in the car but with regular car rides I’m sure I’ll learn to love that breeze in my face! I do fine in a crate too but am also fine if left home alone as long as I have my own toys.

To be the best that I can be, I’ll need a family with working dog experience. I understand that I am not the perfect match for everyone; but I am a smart girl and eager to learn. With the right amount of exercise and activity, I will make an awesome family dog. I hope you’d like to meet me!

This is a courtesy post and I’ll be waiting with my family in San Jose.
