Many thanks Jessica Silverman & BAGSR alumni Milo for your extremely generous donation - Oso is super appreciative - WOOF WOOF!
Hi! I’m Oso. I’m a six year old black and tan GSD. I’m a big strong boy and I’m very friendly. I currently live with another dog-“Axel” who is also posted on this site because our friends at BAGSR are helping both of us find new homes.
I currently live with two young kids and really like them. So a family with kids would be just fine for me.
I’ve had professional training in my puppy days and still remember a lot of it. I need a little practice on leash but don’t let that worry you at all. I just need to get back into a routine and I’ll be great. Plus, when you give me commands I will definitely follow them.
I like other dogs and do really well in the car. I will alarm bark but will stop as soon as I am told it’s ok.
Cats are probably a no-go. We currently live next door to a bunch of cats and Axel and I think they are pests.
Because I am big and strong, I'd do best in a household with a family who can take charge and show me the ropes.
One thing you should know about me and Axel is that we currently live outside so we’ll need to be monitored closely while we learn our indoor manners. We are looking for someone to teach us the rules of indoor living. We hear that living indoors is MAGNIFICENT! I do know that I’m supposed to go outside to go potty. Also, I used to know how to relax in a crate but it’s been a while since I’ve used one.
I’ll be waiting in San Jose. Hope to hear from you!
Note: Oso and Axel can be adopted separately, but being adopted together would be wonderful.
